Tupac Shakur

One of the most iconic and influential hip-hop singers was born in 1971 in the family of active participants of the well-known Afro-AMerican organization “Black Panthers”, who professed left and radical views. His mother, Afeni Shakur, and his father, Billy Garland, were among the many “panthers” and fought for the rights of the black population in the United States.

Mother was charged with 150 different reasons, including a very serious one – a conspiracy against the United States. Just before the birth of the child, the charges were dropped.

Immediately after the death of her son Afeni Shakur received all the rights to his songs and was actively engaged in charity until her death in 2016.
